“Those who live in areas with higher economic growth and better schools have a greater chance to experience the American dream”. The American dream is alive but unobtainable for majority of america. The goal of the American dream can not be reached by several Americans because they do not want to put in the work effort or belief to obtain their dream. Those select few americans that do put in the work effort and believe in themselves can achieve the impossible. Those select few include: Manny Pacquiao, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Dwight Howard. You dont have to try to be them or compare yourself to them but you should really take notes on how they accomplished their dream. As of June 2014 about 59% of americans thought the american dream was unachievable according to CNN’s American dream poll. This generation's teenagers say the american dream is there its just not many people talk about or care about it. Most teenagers believe since they have a phone, video games, roof over their head, and a chance to go to college and the life after that is a perfect life. Weather you believe you're living the american dream now as a teenager or after college the american dream will always change.
