“Being Pro-Choice is trusting the individual to make the right decision for herself and her family, and not entrusting that decision to anyone wearing the authority of government in any regard”-Hillary Clinton. Abortion is one of the most controversial and hotly debated topics of this day and age. The reason? As so often the case is, a division of two groups versing each other on morality and constitutional ideals of what is right. It is my opinion that if the history of the woman waited and fought to be recognised at equals to men, that we could vote, that we were independent, that government let it be law then it is my mind my body and therefore it is and always should legally be my choice. What if the cure for cancer was in a young girl who made a mistake but still deserved a second chance but because the social pressure against the choice she never got it? The class was silent..except the teacher. I was told to quiet my opinions while the other group presented and preached theirs to an entire class for ten minutes. It was infuriating not just because the ignorance from young adults soon to be leaders of our world and government, but also because the way i was quieted, the way what i had to say was shut down, was so similar to what millions of women are going through all around the world. Simply because Pro-choice means life as well. The problem is that no one cares about the life of the mother. I ask you society, you're Pro-Life, who will feed this child, love
