Argumentation (Toulmin Model) To my Fellow Countrymen Peace is the one thing all civilizations in modern history chase. But a utopia cannot ever be possible. War is in human nature. The only way to prepare for peace is to prepare for war. These two seemingly opposite topics go hand in hand. Although absolute peace has never been attained and will certainly never happen; civilizations have come rather close. However, those without the ability to protect their peace through means of war and power will never have any peace in the first place. Military is a necessity. If one wants to have their children raised without images of death and tyranny, they must live in a country that brings death to end tyranny. Take the Unites States for example. Though the U.S. is a rather young country and has had disturbance in its peace, we could all agree that the citizens of America live their lives with a blind eye to genocide and war crimes. Everyone who knows anything about world history and WWII knows that the Polish had quite a rough six or so years in the early nineteen-forties. To sum up what happened in Poland at this time, Nazi Germany invaded, captured all the Jewish people they possibly could, and committed one of the largest genocides in human history. So why did this happen? Sure, one could say that the Jews were always hated by the German people going back to the death of Jesus Christ. Should we really blame an event that took place thousands of years ago for murder that took place just 70-80 years ago? Well, technically yes, the Jews have be resented by the German people going back hundreds if not thousands of years in time, but this isn’t the sole reason the Holocaust took place in
