In order to achieve a balance of water in the body the hormone ADH (antidiuretic hormone) hormone is used this happens as the ‘hypothalamus detects that there is not enough water in the body or the blood ‘ the message is then sent to the pituitary gland which releases the ADH hormone , this means that more water is absorbed as it travels to the tubules in the kidney this then means that more concentrated urine is produced . Aldosterone is released when blood pressure is too low , this is secreted by the adrenal cortex so when the blood pressure is too low salts such as sodium chloride are reabsorbed and regulated so the blood volume and pressure .
