The main conflict of this autobiography is Man vs. Society as Malcolm X vs. America’s society. Malcolm struggles against the racism of America and at the same time he domestic problems of different civil rights organization including the Nation of Islam. Firstly, Malcolm starts off in a broken family where he is raised in the country, which results in poverty, his father’s death, mother’s mental illness, destruction f his family and mostly pure racism.
