Fear is a major aspect that concerns many people when moved to a whole different place. Eula Biss goes on in her essay revealing the experiences of Laura Ingalls Wilder to her own experiences as a new resident in Roger Park, which is a black neighborhood in Chicago. Eula moves to Chicago with her husband because she was hired to teach at the University in Evanston. She feared that she would be insulted by the world.
