There are a LOT of types of governments, and I could spend hours on end comparing and contrasting all of them, but to save your time, my time, and our sanity I’m going to compare and contrast American Democracy, Dictatorship, and Applied Communism. First, comparing American Democracy and Dictatorship. In the American Democracy, people vote and those votes get sent to the house of electives where a varying amount of people(usually around 500) vote for the president, usually they vote what the majority of their state voted. When it comes to dictatorship, however, normally no one gets to vote and one guy(along with a few of his political buddies) gets all of the riches while the majority of the people get nothing. Finally, comparing Applied Communism and Dictatorship. In Applied Communism, the profit is given almost directly to the govt., but in dictatorship, only one dude(although he basically is the judge, the jury, and the executioner), the dictator, reaps all the benefits and shares nothing with anyone else(again, except for his political buddies). In Applied Communism, the government dictates the overall economy in communism, and in dictatorship it is the dictator who has the last say in the economics of a nation. Applied Communism believes in government ownership, but dictatorship believes in an individual owning everything. Applied Communism believes that it is the community that handles the resources or the means of production in, but in dictatorship, the dictator handles the means of production or resources.
