Thomas Keneally Abraham Lincoln 2003 Thomas Keneally is an Australian novelist, playwright, and author of nonfiction writing. He was born on October 7, 1935. Keneally lives in Sydney, Australia. His best work is Schindler's Ark, later known as Schindler's List. Thomas has a very wide range of books and how he writes. Keneally loved the Civil War period, which was right in time for Lincoln. Thomas Keneally’s book Abraham Lincoln showed that Thomas wasn’t really for Lincoln or against. Unlike most writers they all point out the good in Lincoln. Keneally just told the truth. Some people may believe that maybe the reason Thomas just told the the truth about Abraham Lincoln was because he doesn’t live in America. Telling both sides good and bad can be a wonderful thing if you want to know every detail about who the author is writing about.…show more content…
We know that all the information in this book is true and we know how to find all this information to back him up. Having sources also show that Keneally isn’t very bias towards Lincoln. He never really says that he likes or doesn’t like Lincoln. Some people may believe that the only reason why he wrote this book was for more information over America and Abraham Lincoln. Keneally does dwell on all the negative stuff about Lincoln and all Lincoln’s imperfections. Some people’s opinion may be that people need to know the full truth about Abraham Lincoln. Yes, Lincoln did do some really good things like freeing the slaves but Lincoln messed up sometimes too. Just because Thomas Keneally dwells on negatives he doesn’t just forget about the good stuff.
