Aaron Thomas Speech Analysis

I thought Aaron Thomas did a great job speaking. His message that we was getting across was kind of tear jerking I had to hold my tears back throughout many parts of his speech. Although, when he was going to deep into the story that he could tell the audience was getting emotional he would go onto another topic that was not sad. Aaron has to be one strong hearted person to get up on that stage to not be emotional about the topic of the murder of his dad. I know if I was up there and it was 6 years later I would still be bawling when talking about the subject. Aaron, I thought didn’t really have a speaking opener to start his speech. The clip of the film was kind of the opener, but a thesis to the speech would have made it easier to follow
