There is only one place in the lower United States where bison have lived continuously since prehistoric times. The bison are still there and in many ways they are the king of the forest. So if you are lucky enough to visit that very special place called Yellowstone National Park, you will probably see some bison and there are some things that you may want to know. A full grown bull (male) bison is massive and those horns that appear to be small are backed up with 2000 pounds of bison and you will be gored if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time.
