Japanese Prime Ministers And The Yasukuni Shrine Japanese prime ministers shouldn’t go to the Yasukuni Shrine. In the Yasukuni Shrine, there has many World War II war criminals. They are guilty and they participated the war that is invasive. Japanese prime ministers know real WWII history, so they still deny and try to revise and distort the history. They just want to make their history looking good. Thus, they can’t be forgave by the countries which are invaded by them. They abuse the Yasukuni Shrine influence power. They want to use Yasukuni Shrine power to mislead people. They want people to think WWII is ethic, so they can get a good prestige in their country. The soldiers are robbers, rapist, and murderers. According to Christopher Woolf wrote, “Among the 2.4 million souls enshrined and revered in the Yasukuni Shrine are about 1,000 war criminals from World War II.” However, Japanese government still claim they are heroes, don’t say they are war criminals, and hold a formal visit to respect them. Thus, Japanese people think the war criminals are heroes.
