Patient Vladimir Zaroff was the only child of a multimillionaires. His father was a high ranked general in the Russian military. When Zaroff was give orders by his dad and he disobeyed or messed he would get severely punished. Zaroff learned quickly to do orders the right way. The only way he would get approval was to kill animals. I do believe that this caused confusion from what is right and what is wrong. At a young age, Zaroff's father taught him how use a gun, hunt, track and to set traps. He would be praised for hunting and killing animals. He often talks about the time he shot and killed his father's prized turkey and did not get in trouble,but reward for doing so. This event sparked his desire for the hunt. Zaroff did not attend public
