The second chapter is called Truthing It. In this chapter, the author expresses the desire that to love another person is the same as wanting to let in, maintenance, and protect that person’s right to be understood and heard. To express what you mean in the fastest and clearest way you know possible. The author wants to speak to us honestly and said that you need to trust others with actual feelings and to that avoid honest statements of real kindness, and generosity is often times more cruel than it is nice. It is a kind of like a compassionate lie. You want to give honest feelings to others and believe from that from the start that they will be able to handle your honest feelings. You cannot expect your relationship to be good unless you
