To Multitask or Not to Multitask? Multitasking is something that occurs on a day to day basis. It is often taken as everyday life and even added to resumes as an enhancing skill. However debate has been going on whether or not multitasking is worth the effort. Many claim it is driving individuals to have lower scores than their peers. Studies have been and are being done to discover whether are not multitasking is for the greater good. Lydia Burak, a professor at Bridgewater State University, asserts that multitasking is indeed harmful to students in her article “Multitasking in the University Classroom”.
