It takes time to become powerful and influential in society. Theodora and Ibn Battuta were two of those people who were not powerful in their society, but gained power as they grew up.
Theodora and Ibn Battuta both grew up in morally respected areas. Theodora was the daughter of the bear trainer for the circus. Theodora grew up in an undignified and morally suspect atmosphere. Iban Battuta was born in Tangiers to a family of legal scholars.

He also visited ka’ba to pray to his God for a safe journey. Then he travelled to Iraq, Basra, and Baghdad in Persia.
