This book review will focus on Simon Wiesenthal’s autobiography, The Sunflower: On the Possibilities and Limits of Forgiveness. Originally published in 1976 but revised and expanded in 1998. Simon Wiesenthal tells the readers his personal account about the Holocaust and the ordeals he had to face. This autobiography differs from other Holocaust autobiographies in the sense that Wiesenthal is not the only one telling a story. Wiesenthal meets a man on his deathbed; this dying man tells Wiesenthal his account and asks Wiesenthal a question that shapes the rest of his life.
