The series centers on the Griffin family, Peter and Lois; their children Meg, Chris, Stewie, and their talking pet dog Brian. The show was film in the city of Quahog, Rhode Island (wikipedia.org 2014). The Family Guy is family friendly show. The characters in the show are dysfunctional, hilarious, and loyal to each other. The Griffin family then believes that Brian is dead and they are all deeply saddened, as they see how important Brian is to the family. Seeing this reaction, Brian is cheered up and he thanks Stewie.
