For this discussion, I have chosen The Shower- psycho Movie clip from 1960. This movie is shot in sequences “a rare method of shooting a film so that the scenes are shot in chronological order, the same order in which they appear in the story”. (Goodykoontz, B., & Jacobs, C. P. (2014)). This allows the viewers to capture what is going on in that moment. This is scene is well organized from different angles from the point of Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) entering the showing and is feeling very relax to the point of the killer showing up, the two characters struggling and finally the killer stabbing her. One section that is shown in frame by frame is when the killer is stabbing Marion Crane (a stop-motion animation)). This allows the picture to be in motion when it is played back. After Marion is stabbed, she slowly slips faces the wall at first and then turns around extending her arm grabbing the shower curtain until her she is lifeless and her blood is washed down the drain. The sequence of this shot allows its viewers to see the horror in order as stop-motion animation “a process of photographing model figures one frame at a time while changing their position slightly each time”. (Goodykoontz, B., & Jacobs, C. P. (2014)).…show more content…

(Goodykoontz, B., & Jacobs, C. P. (2014).
