Brian would be considered a dynamic character because ever since the crash, he has become more independent. While in the woods, Brian has built a shelter, found food, and made weapons all on his own. Brian has also changed physically. After the crash, he discovered that he has gotten weaker and thinner. For example, when Brian looked at the reflection of himself in the lake, he noticed that he had mosquito bites, scratches, and bruises all over his face. In addition, the Secret and the crash have mentally changed Brian. Thanks to his mom, the Secret has haunted Brian throughout the entire novel. If it weren't for his mom's secret affair, Brian's parents would have never divorced, the plane would not have ever crashed, and he wouldn't be stuck
