The presentation of the documentary “The Head of Joaquin Murrieta” was an excellent opportunity for me to be knowledgeable about the background and history of Mexican-Americans in the 19th century. I feel as if history books don’t provide enough detail to what really occurred to Mexican Americans at that time period. However, the documentary helped fill that void in my head on my knowledge about the history of my nationality.
