Many productions like to do their own twist on what they produce. One of the plays that I think should always include the mini essays is The Crucible by Arthur Miller. They should include them because the writer did not include them in their writing just for fun. They did it because it gave their reader a better understanding of what’s going on. Producers sometimes see the pros and the cons in including them in the production also.
For instance some of the pros in including them might simple be to give a better understanding of what’s going on to a person who has never read or seen the production presented. Another pro it makes the person feel more involved with what they are seeing or reading. For example, when someone
