Capote uses many different claims throughout In Cold Blood. One claim that stood out to me and brought my attention to the most was his idea of the American Dream, and how many people believe that reaching the American Dream is this great, big accomplishment. In my project I decided to do a modern movie poster to stress Capote’s claim on this idea. On my movie poster I intended to show each idea of the book that proved his claim in a visual way. Starting with the main idea of the American Dream I used the whole basis of my movie poster as the American flag. However I added a twist to it, just like there is a twist with the Clutter family.
