RECOMMENDATIONS Support services play a crucial role in fulfilling homeless youth’s daily needs, such as shelter, food, healthcare and safety. However, some services are not equipped to deal with the wide range of needs of the LGBTQ homeless youths, which have undoubtedly become more complex and diverse. Support services must be revised and adapted to reflect the changing needs of youth. Funding cuts have created significant gaps in the system; they must rely on resources that may not be fully equipped to deal with their differences. The following recommendations can help assist in providing safe housing and appropriate services. 1.
