It all wasn’t worth it In the story “So I Ain’t No Good Girl” by Sharon Flake, the two main characters are Raheem and the other is unknown. These two people are a couple, but to the girl it doesn’t seem like it’s a steady relationship. After reading this short story, my opinion is that Raheem is a bad type of character because he does certain things that prove to the audience that he a bad character in the story. First off, Raheem makes bad choices in both school and outside of school because the story tells us that Raheem skips school whenever he feels like it because he says he has other things to. Towards the end of the story, he skips a school day when he knows he has to take a major test that determines if he passes or stays in his grade. His girlfriend even reminds him that he has to take the test, but he still doesn’t want to go to school. Instead, he goes to the donut shop and buys some donuts.…show more content…
In his school, every girl thinks that he’s cute and every guy thinks that he is cool. But the people really don’t know how he is when he is not in school and how he treats his girlfriend. Whenever Raheem is with his girlfriend, he would stare at other girls. When they were at a bus stop, there was girls passing by and Raheem was straight up staring at them in front of his girlfriend. Towards the end of the story, when they are at the bus stop, whenever the girlfriend gets on the bus, she goes to the back and sees Raheem kissing another girl. She was pretty sad when she saw that and broke down to tears. Raheem always tells his girlfriend that she is the only one for her. But for what he does, we can see that’s not true at
