A sluggard is someone that is continuous active in being lazy. The word is not a modern word, but an ancient word that can be found in the scriptures. This word appears mostly in the Old Testament, in the book of Proverbs. Here is an example of the word Sluggard used in the Bible:

3. He or she will be foolish in their thinking! Proverbs 24:30 "I walked by the field of a lazy person, the vineyard of one with no common sense." If he or she walks, and talks like a fool, than he or she is a fool. When someone acts foolish, they are heading for destruction!
