Author Anne-Marie Slaughter believes that women can “have it all” while at the same time not “have it all”. In her article “Why women still can’t have it all” witch first appeared in the July/August of the Atlantic, she tells the reader exactly why she believes women still cannot have it all. Slaughter tells of her career as the first women director of policy planning at the State department eighteen months into her career, she realized she was missing out on being at home with her children.
