As for my reaction to the Modern Evolutionary theory and Charles Darwin’s Natural selection that the smartest, healthiest and strongest tend to have an upper hand in the evolutionary pool of reproduction. Well I must say on paper it looks good and I think through out certain times in history it could be proven, like when the plague broke out or even polio, but when I look around at who and what are reproducing in modern society I am not sure that these are the best choices for our race going forward. I understand that scientifically they are speaking genetically and not by outward appearance but I do believe there is a connection. I believe that the addicts I see reproducing would not fall under the fittest in Darwin’s theory. Houk’s book
