Sicko is a documentary film that evaluates the health care in the U.S and interviews citizens with and without insurance that have been denied medical treatment by their healthcare providers. The idea that these companies sell to their workers is “ If you decline health care, you increase the company’s wealth”. Apparently their mission is not to save lives, but to maximize profits. The high cost of medicine and the rejection of treatments have caused some patients to go bankrupt, work to pay their medicines and in some cases, it has cost their lives.
