This was a journey for students to walk the Selma to Montgomery Voting Rights March in 1965. The person most interviewed during the walk was an Alabama State University student by the name of Lamar Butler. The march was a five-day journey for students and others to walk the long journey that our ancestors made during that period to make major changes for African Americans. That march changed the course of history for African American especially in the Voting Rights department. Students explained the timing and planning it took for the five-day walk to take place.
