I know about the issue of plastic in the ocean. There are many commercials, videos on the internet, news segments, and protests on the topic. Last month, I saw a video of a turtle who had hard plastic stuck in its nostril. To get it out, rescuers had to basically rip it out of its nostril. It was really sad to see because after it was taken out, blood immediately starting flowing out of it. Sea Turtles are an endangered species, and with the plastic flowing in the ocean it could decrease the number of Sea Turtles in the world. I feel that we can all take part and do what Cohen suggested. Getting glass or stainless steel water bottles, using reusable bags for groceries rather than plastic bags, buying Pyrex containers rather than plastic containers
