1.1 GENERAL INTRODUCTION OF THE FIELD
With two thirds of the earth's surface covered by water and the human body consisting of 75 percent of it, it is evidently clear that water is one of the prime elements responsible for life on earth. Water has been used since antiquity as a symbol by which to express devotion and purity. Some cultures, like the ancient Greeks, went as far as to worship gods who were thought to live in and command the waters. Our drinking water today, far from being pure, contains some two hundred deadly commercial chemicals. Add to that bacteria, viruses, inorganic minerals (making the water hard) and you have a chemical cocktail that is unsuitable (if not deadly) for human consumption. John Archer in his book 'THE…show more content… First of all the user must register through sign up form, in which he stored all the information regarding himself. Therefore the proposed system is an online drinking water supply system in which the customer can order appropriate pure water while sitting home. In this system customer have an option to choose the specific amount of water. There is an extra option for customer to choose the appropriate time in which he needs the water. Customer will made the payment by cash on delivery.
Now a day in all major countries of the world, there is big problem of drinking water, there is no such an online ordering system of pure water.
There are many products which have online home delivery system such as food delivery system and home appliances delivery system in Pakistan except pure water delivery system.
Therefore I have motivated to develop a web application to ease the people by supplying the water at their door step according to their requirement.
This project is aimed at developing a complete online ordering system for use in the pure water service industry which will allow the users to quickly and easily manage an online system where customer can browse and use to place orders with just a few…show more content… In this chapter we discuss about the general introduction of our field. Secondly I express my motivations. In this chapter also explain problem statement and then object and scope.
In this report the Chapter # 2 is Literature review/Prior application analysis; in this chapter I analyze the existing systems and their problems. I briefly write the previously studies and their pros. & cons. At the end of this chapter I describe the summary of this chapter.
Next chapter is Methodology. In this I explain my solution method of my web application. I draw the different diagrams i:e Flow charts, Data Flow Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams, different Processes and Use case Diagrams etc. In this chapter I also explain my implementation and testing tools through which I will design my application. For example I will HTML and PHP as programming languages and Mysql is use for Database Design. In the last I explain chapter summary.
In chapter # 4 of this report I write about my practical work that how I develop my application and how I design it. I write the sample application code and explain the each module of my code. In the there is chapter summary of this
