The argument of if we can fight and die for our country at eighteen why can’t we drink as well has been an ongoing battle over the years. My stance is that the drinking age should not be lowered to eighteen. The points that are going to help me prove to you exactly why the drinking age be shouldn’t lowered are the increased numbers in underage traffic accidents, the increased amount of teen pregnancy, and finally other countries who let kids under eighteen drink and the problems they face.
