Potato Monologue

Kicking dust into the sky is how I like to spend my evenings after eating a delectable dinner. It gives me time to think and contemplate where my life is going. I’m 29 and have been working on a farm my whole existence. I need a sign to get my life together and have a future outside of this farm. While thinking this, I see a glowing potato in the midst of the farm’s vast crumbly dirt brown field. With the sunset glowing, the potato looks like a gold bar in the midst of gloomy feces. I divert from my path and step towards this illuminating potato to pick it up. I touch this potato and suddenly get a peculiar sense, so remote to me that it ends chills up my spine. I get a sense that if I eat this potato I will be able to make substantial achievements in my life. A weird sixth sense is telling me that I can't engulf it yet; for this reason I head to my cabin outside of the field, and try to get another feeling from this potato. In the past few hours diddly squat happens, so the best way to deal with this situation is to have an exceptional night of sleep. I grab the potato from my back pocket; therefore, I am ready to gain infinite power. The potatoes sixth sense tells me that it's time to eat. My mouth moistens as I imagine eating this alluring oval of power. It doesn't even bother me that this potato is raw, the pure idea of becoming this powerful makes this raw potato seem unbearably tasty. My teeth bite through the rough skin of this precious potato, and I clench down, engulfing this enlightening potato. Owwww! What's happening!
