In the story “Gryphon” by Charles Baxter Miss Ferenczi had a positive influence on the students. Using evidence from the story which states “ I ran into the living room, pulled out a dictionary next to the TV stand, and opened it to the G’s”. The quote explains how Miss Ferenczi has gotten one of her students so interested in class that he was curious enough to learn more on the mythical creature known as the Gryphon.
