Growing up, I have enjoyed being both on and off the field at sporting events. I have a strong interest and passion with sports which allow me to have a good connection with the sports genre in film. The idea I have been working on revolves around baseball and focuses on a specific player; the catcher. The reason behind my decision is because I myself played back catcher in my playing career. I have wanted to see a movie that focuses on the catcher vs the picture because the game itself is being put into their hands; they call the shots.
