Curfews have always never really been fun for kids and has always served as a wall in people's paths. Curfews are usually to help others and keep track of where people are so nothing bad happens like youth crimes. But their are some decent Curfews that many people go with. Then their are the curfews for keeping kids in their house and that’s where the problems begin. Meet Jack a pretty normal 16 year old who just wants to have fun and enjoy life. Jack doesn’t really like the curfew and because of this it's caused a debate in his household and a hate toward his parents. If we draw the line at kids not being able to leave the house and do anything then what is the point of being able to be free to choose. In the 14th amendment in the Amendment of Rights. "All persons born or naturalized in the U.S. and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law, which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens in the United States. Nor shall any state deprive a person of life liberty or the pursuit of happiness. Nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction equal protection of the laws." What people aren’t realizing is by setting up Curfews and not allowing kids to be free to be out of the house t purse happiness that we are technically breaking the 14th Amendment in the Amendment of Rights. If we keep making curfews than we are breaking it more and more. We will be breaking our guidelines and after that who knows what we will do. If we break our guidelines and chains over a curfew then what will be next. All of us, breaking every single rule just so we can control where kids are and what their doing.
