Personal Statement: Volunteer Coach

In addition to my current and past employment, I am a Volunteer Coach for the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills class at the Optimist Ice Arena in Jackson, MI. I make sure to pay attention to their strengths and weaknesses and use basic language skills that the children could easily understand. By demonstrating skills, the children, ranging in ages from five to nine years old, have been able to complete the same skills.
In regards to the special requirements needed for this position, I do possess a valid Michigan's Driver License along with reliable transportation to travel between the courts.
