I grew up in Mexico, and I have learned to embrace living in a country with different rules, ideas and customs to the one I grew up, which I continue to learn and appreciate more. I believe that this as well as many experiences have allowed me to learn from people with very different backgrounds; these life experiences that have made me grow as a person with an open mind and cultural competence that will allow me contribute to the diversity at Tufts University School of Medicine.
