I was born in a state where two worlds intertwine into one. Southern Maryland is lucky to have both the thriving city of Annapolis and endless stretches of golden open fields. So when the University of Pittsburgh was the top choice on my College Board search, I questioned whether I would feel comfortable in such an urban setting. All my doubts were abolished, however, the instant I arrived in Pittsburgh. I was astonished that although I was in the middle of a bustling city, everything was so green and had an almost park-like setting. Everyone we encountered on the visit was amiable and accommodating, from our tour guide, Gianna, to the bus driver who helped this disoriented tourist navigate the city.
