Personal Narrative: Christian Music Saved My Life

I Love music, it's so universal people everywhere us it to celebrate, rejoice, morn, and remissness. I was saved over he summer and I realized in my new found faith that music was one of the things I wanted to change. Before being saved I thought Christian music was just hymns sung out of an old book, but to my surprise Christian music is like any other music. I anxiously came across the Newsboys and it was love at first sound, their music really speaks to me and helps me relate to my faith and family. If I'm having a bad day I find myself listening to their messages and realizing I'd rather be smiling because the Lord will take care of it. The messages they convey helps to initiate conversations with my 13 year old about God and the world.
