Pat Mora Remembering Lobo
345 Words2 Pages
Pat Mora tries to convey the idea of the word lobo. The tricky thing about the word lobo, essentially, it is a paradox. There is a wolf pack, and then there is a lone wolf. Pat’s aunt demonstrates both of the characteristics, thus showing that she has a complex personality. Aunt Ignacia shows that there are times, when to be with the ones you love, yet show that she makes the rules. This kind of story, is usually, not given out to the students. Instead, it must be that the students have to look for a story like this. “Remembering Lobo” shows that one of the hardest things to do is to love well. Pat’s spinster aunt shows devotion and love to her “lobitos.” The most important part of this story, which I believe, is the ending, of the story.
