I was soaring on a vivid dream of white cotton candy surrounded by lustrous tranquility in a state of total bliss; but the sound of thunder demolished this feverish dream and tore away the hallucination as if it was made of paper Mache. Sweat was gliding down my forehead like droplets of rainwater on a car window. The rain outside was hitting the window like speeding bullets. Leisurely, the darkness left my eyes and I returned from the void. Welcoming the luminous sunlight regarding it as an old friend. Through the window I could catch a glint of a rainbow that was starting to take shape, each color a pure glow of warmth and compassion. I felt a familiar strain across my chest.
