Hardships are a part of life. Even though hardships may come, they can be overcome with persistence and fortitude. Examples of this can be shown through the Puritans and the Girl. Both faced hardships but overcame them. The first winter, the Puritans went with no food, they were very cold and they had very little thoughts of the savages they came across. Many grew very ill. During their trip, they had lost many to sickness as well. It was time they started searching in terms of a location to build a community.
