Competitive swimming Informative Outline General Purpose: To inform. Specific purpose: to inform my audience about competitive swimming Organizational Pattern: Introduction I. I leaned forward holding the bottom of the dive board staring at the water ready for my first swim meet. II. When this happened to me 2 years ago at an indoor swim meet I was really nervous. A. II. Starting a stroke and doing the strokes can range from very easy to hard. A.
