I think I speak for all American citizens when I say this, of you who slept through the death of Osama bin Laden, then you were either upset you missed the fall of Osama bin Laden or happy that he no longer serves as a threat to the U.S. Even though we went through the same things years ago with Hitler and Stalin, we can all agree that they were all evil people. Osama bin Laden was just too powerful to be let go unharmed, since he was also on the verge of another mass killing. Because bin Laden lived for his cause, he would always be trying to bring harm to innocent people either through threats or physical harm to them. Osama bin Laden was the leader of a very well-known terrorist group known as Al-Qaida. Al-Quida is one of the many terrorist groups that the U.S. has dealt with through the years. They were the group responsible for the September 11, 2001 attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center (www.history.com). He had been on the FBI’s “most wanted” list for more than a decade. He and his group were also believed to be responsible for the 1998 bombings of the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania (www.history.com).
