I think I speak for all American citizens when I say this, of you who slept through the death of Osama bin Laden, then you were either upset you missed the fall of Osama bin Laden or happy that he no longer serves as a threat to the U.S. Even though we went through the same things years ago with Hitler and Stalin, we can all agree that they were all evil people. Osama bin Laden was just too powerful to be let go unharmed, since he was also on the verge of another mass killing. Because bin Laden lived for his cause, he would always be trying to bring harm to innocent people either through threats or physical harm to them.
