Nicholas Kristof is a journalist and the author of the famous article in the New York Times, Saudis in Bikinis. In this article, Nicholas explains his trip to the capital city of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. He describes how he experienced a major culture shock when he visited this Middle Eastern nation. Throughout the article, Nicholas shows how he and the western world believe that the women in Saudi Arabia are repressed because of the outfit they wear due their religious beliefs and agreement with the Saudi law. All the women he interview told him that they chose to wear the hijab and they are not repressed. He still believes that unless the Saudi people including the government acknowledge the oppression of Saudi women, that they
