Narrative Essay: Going Back To Becoming A Legal Adult

As an 18-year-old, there comes a point where you realize that you’re finally a legal adult and there are so many responsibilities to take care of. There is no time to procrastinate, which I do most of the time...but I still get back up again. I have always been a shy girl that has been afraid to share ideas with the world. I wish I could go back to my middle school days when I wouldn’t have worry as much as I do now. I want to go back to become more school orientated and take on more challenges, such as taking harder classes. During my freshman year, I specifically remember my English teacher telling me that I had such great potential, and that I could’ve been in her pre-ap class. If I had the chance to go back and take it, I would’ve. I wish I would do my high school year all over again; to change my ways of always slacking off. Even if my grades are considered decent , I know I can do better.…show more content… I soon realized I’ll be away from home often, and that’s not something I’d be able to do for life. I then realized that I didn’t know what I wanted to do after all, even after reaching my senior year. I’ve decided that I want to study nursing due to having to struggle with my family’s health. I’ve seen my father live in a nursing home on two separate occasions and noticed that some workers are very impolite snd impatient. This helped me reach the conclusion that I want to care for people because there are some who do very unkindly, and it’s a way to become financially stable. I have struggled with money and I know that working for it, is already hard enough. I have become aware that after high school, it’s time to take harder
