I joined the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) during my first year of college. It is an honors organization that requires a high GPA and leadership training. NSLS has encouraged me to find my strengths and use them to help others. They also assign networking teams and have motivated me to collaborate to reach my goals. NSLS has awarded me the National Engaged Leader Award for my continued involvement with their organization. I have contributed more than the minimum hours of community service and fundraising because I truly believe in their mission and values.
I am also part of Students for Integrative Medicine (SIM). SIM is a group for undergraduate and medical students interested in complementary and alternative medicine.
