Mrs. Medina, my middle school Student Council sponsor, is one of the most magnanimous individuals I have ever received the pleasure of meeting. She's taught me many beautiful things, helped me when I had no one else to go to, and inspired me to be better than the person I was yesterday. When I first met Mrs. Medina, I had no idea how tremendously she would impact my life or how important she would soon become to me.
Mrs. Medina’s humbleness and caring nature reaches out to the hearts of everyone who surrounds her. She has taught me more life lessons than anyone else. As soon as I walked into the room, my mood changed. The atmosphere when she’s around is so amazingly positive. Even on the worst days, she never failed to make me smile. She has taught me to never lose faith and hold on tight to that little piece of hope. When my parents divorced, I felt like no one understood what I was going through and that I was alone, facing problems no 14 year old should. Soon enough, I found out that I wasn’t alone, for Mrs. Medina had gone through something extremely similar. She showed me that at this point of my life I hold the power to live the life I’ve always dreamed
