Following the trail of blood I was lead to the closet. Something told me that I would regret opening the closet door, but I would regret it even more if I didn’t. Slowly turning the glass door knob, something disturbing came to view. I stood still for a moment, shocked by the sight. There in the middle of the closet, sitting up on the divan was Mr. Booker. His throat was sliced, his eyes gouged out, covered in his own blood. I couldn’t bear looking at the corpse any longer, but it was my job to bring the victim to justice. Mr. Booker was a wealthy man, he lived in a New York loft house flat in 740 Park Avenue. Owning one floor to himself, no one really knew him. There was only one entrance and it wasn’t really an entrance, just an elevator. Considering that all of the windows weren’t able to be opened, maybe with the exception of two or three, nobody could have possibly have escaped. Mr. Booker lived on the sixtieth apartment floor and if the suspect could have escaped through the windows, they had to be able to fly or have spidey powers like spiderman. So the windows were not an option. It could have only been one of the two things; either the suspect was in the apartment with Mr.Booker and escaped through the elevator passing all of the surveillance cameras or the suspect was hiding in a secret room and was still hiding.…show more content…
Mr. Booker was rumored to be in a relationship, here’s the thing, the other residents in the apartment building who saw the couple together said that the two were always arguing. Thus leading me to believe the motive for the murder was not intentional but an accident. This is what happened, Mr. Booker and his partner were having an argument where it suddenly turned physical. The girlfriend, having to defend herself accidentally kills Mr.Booker. Afraid of what the consequences were, she then runs away. The case is
